Instructions for accepting an invitation, setting up login credentials, and troubleshooting portal settings
Setting up HubSpot
The setup process will take 5-10 min.
you should have received an email with a similar subject line: Will Cloos has invited you to join them in HubSpot

- If setting up a shared email, please set up the name fields as shown otherwise please use title case when entering first and last name.
First Name: [location name; ie: Logansport]
Last Name: Team

- Select your job role or
- Set Job Role to Other if setting up a shared account
- Set up password
- Set up 2-factor authentication (2FA)

- 2FA authentication is required for the account setup. Please use either available.
- A document with recovery codes will be provided after this step. These codes can be used instead of the 2FA method chosen to set up.
- For shared account setup, logging in will not be a requirement after the first log in.

- Contacts is a good default for a homepage. This option can be edited later.
- Tasks or Deals would be best for someone in a Sales role
- Dashboards can be a great option as well if reporting is your primary use
If you choose to set up a dashboard as your home page, you will want to choose the specific dashboard you want to see by setting the chosen dashboard as the default dashboard that appears when dashboards are selected on the platform. This operation is available when viewing a dashboard under the "Actions" dropdown. Simply select "Set as default" to make it the default dashboard.

Troubleshooting Portal Settings
There is a chance you may be setting up an account outside of MW Components' HubSpot portal. To ensure this is not the case, navigate to the top-right-hand navigation (where the profile icon appears) and verify the correct account is selected as shown below.
- The correct account is MW Components: 8642978
Once selected you will be able to access the correct database
